On Friday night, Dr. James White debated Joe Ventilacion of Iglesia ni Cristo, a cult based in the Philippines, on the doctrine of the Trinity. While David Platt also did big things on Friday with Secret Church, I think this is a bigger event in the Christian Church because of the lack of emphasis on this doctrine. Dr. White exposed the internal inconsistencies of Unitarianism in light of the Scriptures while validating Trinitarianism and extending the gospel to the Iglesia ni Cristo followers. The debate is three hours long, but well worth viewing. If that isn’t your cup of tea, Dr. White did a review of the debate the next day and that is only an hour long. Soli Deo Gloria!
